Applications:
Sanitary Hygienic Pneumatic Actuated Ball Valves are designed to control the flow within pipeline systems by allowing for a free flow or to shut off or stop the fluid completely. The valve features a vertical stainless steel actuator or a horizontal aluminum actuator on the top of the valve body. Compressed air enters and exhausts from the actuator to drive the valve open or close automatically.

We utilize 304 and 316L stainless steel materials in the construction of these valves as they meet hygienic grade requirements. This makes it an extremely popular fluid flow control component in all kinds of production pipeline systems for the production of food, dairy products, beverages, wine, pharmaceuticals and chemical fluids.

For example, the aluminum pneumatic ball valves in the above photo are applied in a water purification and filtration system.

Working Principle:
1. Spring return single acting pneumatic actuator
When compressed air enters into port A, pistons are forced outwards, making the pinion and valve stem rotate counter-clockwise, the valve is open accordingly when air is exhausted from port B
When air pressure at port A is exhausted, springs forces the pistons inwards, making the pinion turn clockwise, then the valve is closed.

2. Air / air double acting pneumatic actuator
Compressed air enters the chamber from port A, forces the pistons outwards, the pinion rotates counter-clockwise, and the valve is opened
Compressed air enters the chamber from port B, forces the pistons inwards, the pinion turns clockwise and the valve is closed
