Product Description & Applications:
The sanitary hygienic angle seat valve is designed for flow rate regulation. It is similar to the globe valve, but utilizes a Y shaped structure, which increases the valve cavity flow by 30%. Because of that, it is extremely popular with frequent starts, close, distribution, and control of liquid or gas flow. The valve is most often driven using a pneumatic actuator with an NO (normally open) or NC (normal closed) mode. An extra manual regulation device, or intelligent automation control head is available for a more accurate control on the flow in the whole pipeline.

SS304 or 316L stainless steel materials ensure the angle seat valve meets strict hygienic requirements, allowing the valve to be used in food and chemical liquid processing systems, sterilization systems, beer and beverage fermentation systems, and steam management systems and pipelines.

Working Principle:
1. Flow from above seat

  • The air enters into the actuator chamber to compress the spring.
    The piston of valve is driven to move upward. The valve opens, and the medium passes through.
  • The spring goes back automatically and discharges the air out of the actuator chamber.
    The piston of valve stem goes back to the original place. The valve closes, and the medium is shut off.

2. Flow from under seat

  • The air enters into the actuator chamber to compress the spring.
    The piston of valve is driven to move upward. The valve opens, and the medium passes through.
  • The spring goes back automatically and discharges the air out of the actuator chamber.
    The piston of valve stem goes back to the original place. The valve closes, and the medium is shut off.
